Hello, my name is Rafael Martins and I'm a student of Mechanical Engineering at University of Aveiro.  The purpose of this blog is to report the work that I'll be doing on my master theses.

Summary

My work is to develop a way to control a laser, without human intervention, that will measure vibrations on a surface. The program, yet to be developed, is expected to identify the contours of the pretended part and draw a mesh on it's surface. This mesh would be created on Matlab and sent to an arduino. The vibration information acquired of the whole mesh can't be done in real time, because of the vibrometer limitations, instead it is achieved one point at a time, which can take from a few seconds to a few minutes.
